Bamboo Cotton Gauze is 70% Bamboo/ 30% Cotton, 59.84 inches wide (3.24 oz/sq yard)
Cotton poplin is 100% cotton, 58 inches wide (3.54 oz/sq yard)
Rayon is 100% Rayon, 56 inches wide (3.69 oz/sq yard)
Swimsuit knit is 85% polyester/ 15% spandex, 56 inches wide, (6.49 oz/sq yard)
Bamboo Lycra is 95% bamboo/ 5% lycra, 59 inches wide (6.78 oz/sq yard)
Machine wash cold on gentle, no bleach, hang dry. Iron low.
The flower painting fills one yard for the regular size and about 1.6 yards for the XL size. Regular panel is approximately 36 in/91.44 cm wide x 56-59 in/142.24-149.86 cm tall depending on the substrate. XL panel is approximately 56-59 in/ 142.24-149.86 cm square depending on the substrate. The XL panel is great for wider pattern pieces, larger size range, and whole cloth quilting!
The dress with the gathered sleeves is made and modeled by @sidelinedesignbham using the regular sized dahlia panel with the ‘ōhi’a lehua panel on the back plus 1 yard of my matching plain white cotton poplin for the sleeves. The pattern for the dress came from Sewing Pattern Book II and the sleeves are from the Fibremood Oriana pattern.
The extra large panel is great for wider pattern pieces, larger size range, and whole cloth quilting, as pictured! The dahlia quilt was quilted for me by @halii_by_harriet
The dress is made and modeled by @geri_in_sitches using 1 panel of Dahlia + 1 panel of Plumeria (for the back), and Pattern Fantastique’s Celestial Dress pattern.
The wall panel was made by @tutu using the 36 in x 58 in dahlia panel. Marcia stained and finished 2 pieces of bamboo to create this lovely hanging for her sewing room!
